Plans are available for additional coverage up to five years and 64,000 miles after the factory warranty expires. The costs vary depending on the vehicle. The best time to purchased one is at the time you buy a vehicle from us and the factory warranty is in effect. The reason is Guardian, is in second position for any claims until the factory warranty runs out. The coverage includes road side assistance also. Guardian is serviceable only through an independent ASE certified mechanic shop. We have found Guardian to be one of the best extended service contract companies offering this type of repair coverage.
If you get an offer by email or by US mail for an extended warranty, please be very careful. There companies generally sell only by email or direct mail. However, when you file a claim with some of these providers there can be very unpleasant surprises. Again, please do your research before buying.
