How Does Sterling Auto Locators' Service Work?
Step 1...Discovery
When you start the buying process with Sterling Auto Locators, we will spend the time getting to know you and assisting you in selecting the vehicle(s) you want us to find for you, including make, model, color, interior, miles, year, etc. (We can get you most any late model pre-owned vehicle and we can get it from whichever source has the lowest prices and pass the saving on to YOU. We get a large percentage of our cars from lease returns and manufacture sales.
We can deliver a car to you at a lower price than if you spent hours negotiating at a local car lot.)
Step 2...Locate
We spend the time necessary to find you vehicles in excellent condition for your selection. We search a nation-wide inventory of quality pre-owned vehicles available only to dealers.
We do not buy vehicles off eBay or
Craigslist, the risks can be greater than we like.
Why Wholesale Dealer-Only Auctions? Because we are licensed and bonded in the Nevada, we have access to an average of over 100,000 quality pre-owned vehicles daily for our customers to select from. Don't be fooled by consumer auctions as they are not truly wholesale because you are paying sales tax and there is usually a 10% buyer’s fee on top of your bid price. At Sterling Motors, we provide YOU with detailed condition reports and vehicle history reports so you can make an informed decision. Step 3...Selection
When we find cars that meet your criteria, we contact you through e-mail or phone. You are provided with detailed information on the selected vehicle’s condition, history and any questions you have are addressed. This allows you to browse through the selection and give us a call when you have selected the one that you want to purchase. Once you decide on your vehicle, we will give you our best no haggle price.
Step 4...Purchase
Once you decide on your vehicle, a Locate Agreement is signed and a refundable deposit is made, we then enter the dealer auction on you behalf to buy your car. If we are out-bid by another dealer, with your permission in advance we either increase the bid to your approved maximum or we will decide together to try to bid on another vehicle of your choice. If we have out-bid the competition (used car lots) on your
vehicle, then we have made a great deal for you.
Step 5...Delivery
Next we have it delivered to our service center for multipoint inspection, any
refurbishment, detailed, the paperwork completed and waiting for you.
If you want to take the car to your mechanic to be inspected, we welcome it.
